Our Philosophy

Accounting is the language of business and bookkeeping is the backbone of an effective, efficient, and insightful accounting system. Number Sense began in 2005 as a small freelance bookkeeping service. Our philosophy was born out of a love of problem solving. Small businesses face many challenges, but often lack the expertise to diagnose and overcome them. We’ve scaled our methods for the small business consumer, by embracing a ground-up perspective of the accounting function in each business. Our experience has taught us that each function in a business is as important as the next. Understanding how those functions compliment each other and the associated economic cost is the key to the success of any business.
